OUR NEXT PERFORMANCE

Our 2013 performances open with the stage adaption of Agatha Christie's most succesful novel - "And Then There Were None" and will be directed by Anna Bushell.

The novel was first published in the United Kingdom by the Collins Crime Club on 6th November 1939 under its original, but now considered unacceptable, title.

In the novel, ten people, who have previously been complicit in the deaths of others but have escaped notice or punishment, are tricked into coming onto an island. Although the guests are the only people on the island, each is murdered one by one, in a manner paralleling, inexorably and sometimes grotesquely, an old nursery rhyme.

It is Christie's best-selling novel with 100 million sales to date, making it the world's best-selling mystery ever.

In 1943, Agatha Christie adapted the story for the stage.

The Pierrot Players will perform the play at Shelley Village Hall each evening from Wednesday 10th April to Satuerday 13th April 2013 - curtain 7:30pm.
